Sigma 7, the perfect flight.               Astronaut Wally Schirra wanted to pilot the “Text book flight” and he did. The Sigma 7 spacecraft is easily recognizable by its panels of experimental paint samples bonded to the recovery canister, Sigma 7 logo art and orbital retro/heat shield combination.
